Specialized hormone and functional nutrition testing is out of pocket, but many are FSA/HSA available.

For patients who already have an established psychiatric provider, I offer hormone-focused care with optional coordination. My role will focus specifically on hormone evaluation and management while supporting mood stability in collaboration with your primary psychiatric clinician.

For Hormone-Only Care, patients must maintain an established psychiatric provider if actively treated for a psychiatric condition unless switching practices

Who We Are

While we know there are many online and local competitors, we base pricing on true individualization, and combined care. Women don’t just buy hormones — they buy clarity, safety, and feeling understood. Surprisingly, men actually want that too.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I provide comprehensive hormone and thyroid care for both women and men — integrating endocrine health with mental health in a way most telehealth startups, med spas, and even some traditional practices cannot.

Hormones, Thyroid & Mood Are Deeply Connected

Hormonal shifts — whether from perimenopause, menopause, low testosterone, or thyroid imbalance — commonly present as:

  • Anxiety or panic

  • Irritability

  • Depression

  • Insomnia

  • Brain fog

  • Low motivation

  • Low libido

  • Fatigue

Too often:

  • Women are placed on SSRIs when the issue is hormonal.

  • Men are prescribed testosterone without evaluating mood or anxiety patterns.

  • Thyroid dysfunction is missed — or treated without assessing psychiatric impact.

I specialize in differentiating primary mood disorders from hormone- or thyroid-driven changes. I safely integrate hormone therapy with psychiatric medications and adjust treatment thoughtfully during physiologic shifts — reducing misdiagnosis and unnecessary polypharmacy.

Thoughtful, Longitudinal Risk Management

Hormone and thyroid therapy require careful evaluation of:

  • Blood clot risk (VTE)

  • Breast cancer risk

  • Cardiovascular history

  • Migraine patterns

  • Metabolic markers

  • Trauma history

This isn’t checklist medicine. My training emphasizes comprehensive history-taking, nuanced risk–benefit discussions, and close monitoring over time — not quick-start protocols or standardized dosing.

Integrated Care — Not Symptom Chasing

Hormonal and thyroid changes affect far more than lab values.

I evaluate:

  • Sleep architecture, not just insomnia

  • Stress physiology and nervous system regulation

  • Trauma activation during hormonal shifts

  • ADHD vs. estrogen-related cognitive changes

  • Testosterone vs. depression overlap

  • Thyroid vs. mood vs. perimenopause interactions

This is whole-person, systems-based care — not algorithm-based prescribing.

Care for Women and Men

For women, I address the full spectrum of perimenopause and menopause, including mood, cognition, sleep, and identity shifts.

For men, I evaluate low testosterone within the broader context of mental health, stress load, metabolic health, and life stage — not just a single lab number.

Both deserve nuanced, individualized treatment.

Continuity You Can Trust

Hormonal transitions are vulnerable seasons.

You deserve a provider who:

  • Knows your baseline

  • Understands your psychiatric history

  • Tracks patterns over time

  • Is local and accessible — not an anonymous portal

Relational continuity improves medication adherence, emotional safety, and long-term outcomes.

Balanced, Evidence-Informed Treatment

I avoid the extremes — overprescribing for “optimization,” underdosing out of fear, aggressively pushing pellets, or dismissing hormones entirely.

My approach is balanced, personalized, and grounded in evidence.

More Than Hormone Therapy

Hormonal and thyroid changes affect identity, sexuality, aging, career confidence, relationships, and self-perception.

You’re not just receiving prescriptions.

You’re gaining:

  • Hormone therapy

  • Thyroid optimization

  • Mood stability

  • Restorative sleep

  • Cognitive clarity

  • Emotional regulation

  • Safe medication integration

  • Trauma-informed care

  • A long-term therapeutic partnership
